Sunday October 2, 2016 from 2 pm to 4 pm. We will have a table set up. Learn what Marsh Run Kennels Premiere Boarding Facility and Service is all about. Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is having a Pet Blessing event on October 2, 2016 at Red Run Park in Rouzerville. The event will run from 2:00 until 4:00 and will feature God’s blessing on anyone’s pet animal. Dogs must be leased and cats caged. A medallion and pet blessing certificate will be given to each animal that receives a blessing. There will also be a demonstration given by the Blue Ridge K-9 Training Center, a craft for children, a cat and dog contest, tables manned by local businesses with free animal information handouts. Donations will be collected for the Antietam Humane Society for their new facility. They will answer any questions and will also have a few animals along that will be available for adoption. St. Francis of Assisi will be there and available for photos. As a special treat, the Red Run Express train will be running for children of all ages, as well as pet owners with their securely held animals. Antietam Dairy will also be on hand. So please come out to the park, enjoy the afternoon with your pet or pets and meet our new Pastor Pam Illick and the friendly folks from Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rouzerville.
